The Groupon Explosion

I've mentioned Groupon before but now their value is going up! I learned about groupon when my wife and her friends started using it when money was getting tight. At first I was like whatever you're clipping some coupons and saving maybe 5 bucks on each purchase. Then she back from the store and showed me that she payed 30 dollars but had a savings of 108 dollars!! One hundred and eight dollars of free stuff just from using coupons just blows my mind. Now that the economy isn't doing so well I see an increase in couponing and savings.Retailers like Toys R Us and CVS offer incentives in the way of loyalty cards. Everytime you scan your loyalty card you earn points towards coupons and savings. Customers eat this up, I know this from just casually observing other customers at these stores you can see everyone with the little cards on their keychains. Groupon is a new way for people to save in an economy that is short on cash but still likes nice things. I see the value of companies like Groupon going for up for a while yet.
